 Important Revision to Gas Market Fundamentals - Training Course (18/1/12)

The dates and locations for this new training have been amended.  The course will be held now as follows: 13^th March…Sydney, 14^th March…Melbourne & 15^th March…Brisbane.

Gas Market Fundamentals for Energy Users. This 1-day course is specifically designed with the needs of gas users in mind. It has been developed for participants with little or no previous knowledge of the gas market, although it is suitable for those who have already had some exposure to the market and are looking to update or renew their knowledge. EUAA Caveat-Victorian Electricity Distribution Tarrifs and how they are set explained  (15/12/11)

The Australian Energy Regulator AER has received and allowed the tariff proposals from the five distribution network service providers (DNSPs) to apply from January 1st 2012.  The EUAA has released a caveat which explains how these tariffs are set and the tariff increases.  Members can view the caveat here.

Energy White Paper (13/12/11)

The Draft Energy White Paper 2011 - Strengthening the Foundation for Australia’s Energy Future was launched on 13 December 2011 by the Minister for Resources, Energy and Tourism.

It delivers on a commitment by the Government to release a Draft Energy White Paper for public consultation by the end of 2011. It is anticipated that a final Energy White Paper will be released in 2012.

The Draft Energy White Paper provides an overview of Australia’s future energy needs to 2030 (and in some cases beyond) and defines a comprehensive strategic policy framework to guide the further development of Australia’s energy sector.

As part of the consultation process submissions on the Draft Energy White Paper are invited from interested parties until 16 March 2012.

The EUAA will be attending the information sessions that will be held in early 2012.  We will publish the dates & locations here on our website as soon as they are announced.
